It’s going to be a real bang-up affair.
Pun fully intended, the Lake County Fair Board’s 12th annual Fall Gun & Trade Show is a go for Saturday, Sept. 21, and Sunday, Sept. 22, at the Lake County Fairgrounds.
Hours for the event are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday.
Admission is $4 or $3 for those patrons bringing a trade gun. Kids 12 years and under are admitted for free.
The event is an opportunity for gun enthusiasts to buy, sell, trade, exhibit and swap not only firearms, but related accessories and items.
Art, collectibles, silver and jewelry as well as items of a Western flavor often find their way into the many booths that draw in vendors from throughout the region.
No items are allowed that violate federal or state laws, however. A gun transfer dealer will be available and background checks will be done on buyers of firearms.
A 50/50 raffle will be held on both days of the event.
Free parking and RV hookups are available at the fairgrounds, along with security services. Food and refreshments will be available for purchase, as well.
Tables are available at $25 each in advance or $35 at the door the day of the event.
