Lake County Fair Board officials are putting the word out: now is the time to do a little bit of ‘fall cleaning.’
No question about it, opportunity is knocking for one to get the most bang for their buck.
The 12th annual Lake County Fair Board Gun & Trade Show, a staple happening at the Lake County Fairgrounds each autumn, will be held on Saturday, Sept. 21, and Sunday, Sept. 22.
Admission is $4 or $3 with a trade gun. Patrons 12 years and under are admitted for free. Proceeds from the event benefit the Lake County Fair Board’s continued activities at the fairgrounds.
Hours for the event will be 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday.
The event regularly draws in vendors from throughout the region, as well as local attendees peddling wares ranging from various firearms and related accessories to western antiques and collectibles.
A 50/50 raffle will be held on both Saturday and Sunday, with food and refreshments, RV hookups, free parking and security all present and available.
Tables are priced at $25 each in advance, or $35 at the door.
