Albert M. Stone, 75, died at the Lake District Hospital in Lakeview on Friday, March 29, 2013.
Albert was born to William and Alta (Gridley) Stone in Red Bluff, Calif. on June 9, 1937.
He spent most of his life doing what he enjoyed the most, working as a cowboy and logging in northern California and southern Oregon. Because he began working at a fairly young age he was only able to go to school through the 8th grade.
He was married to Cynthia Hammontree on March 16, 2002 in Winnemucca, Nev. and they settled down in Lakeview.
There was nothing Albert liked better than watching a rodeo.
He was preceded in death by his wife; parents; son Jeff Stone; grandson Clayton Stone.
He is survived by five children; three step-children; three sisters; 15 grandchildren;12 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at Desert Rose Funeral Chapel on Friday, April 5, 2013 at 3 p.m..
