Wednesday, Dec. 12 — At 10:08 a.m., Lakeview Police responded to a report of criminal mischief in the 100 block of North J Street.
Saturday, Jan. 12 — Lakeview Police received a report of an assault. The case has been submitted to the Lake County District Attorney’s office.

The Lake County Examiner in the Wednesday, Jan. 2 edition incorrectly stated that the new Veteran Service Officer, Charlie Pike, is taking over for the wrong Don. Pike is replacing Don Boone who is retiring after years of honorable service. Don Moore is the Lake County Fairgrounds manager.
In the Jan. 9 story about the bereavement group that meets weekly at Lake District Hospital, it should have reported that the group is sponsored by Lake District Hospital and the group is led by both Eric Sarensen and Kristin Hill.
