Annual Union School carnival fun for all

Union School’s annual Spring Carnival will take place Saturday, April 19, at the Union School Gym on Westside.

Featuring games, food, prizes, auctions, and a raffle, plenty of entertainment is planned for kids and parents alike. This year will feature a clown, balloons, and face painting, while raffle items and auctions will be held for adults.

Food for the event will include hot dogs, hamburgers, candy apples, fried bread, nachos and more. Games include a dart throw, marble roll, golf putting green, plinko and a fish pond. Auction items include gas cards, tool boxes, and a rifle.

Admission is free, with raffle tickets available for purchase from Union School students or at the door the night of the event. The class that sells the most raffle tickets is being rewarded with a movie night in the Union School gym.

The event is an annual fundraiser for the Westside Parents Club, geared more towards elementary school-aged children, but all are welcome to attend.

Games will begin at 5 p.m. and run until 9 p.m., while auctions will start at 7 p.m. Donation items will still be accepted for the auction and raffles until the start of the event.

Union Elementary School is located at 92398 Water Users Ln. on Westside. For more information call 541-947-2553.
