  • Fernando Vazquez was convicted on one count of recklessly endangering another person and one count of attempt to commit a Class C/Unclassified felony based on a plea of guilty entered on Monday, June 2.  The charges stemmed from an incident that occurred on or about April 19.  Vazquez was sentenced to 5 days in jail and 18 months of bench probation.  One count of resisting arrest was dismissed and one count of driving under the influence of intoxicants was diverted.
  •  Paul W. Houfek was convicted on one count of delivery of marijuana for consideration based on a guilty plea entered on Monday, June 2.  The charge stemmed from an incident that occurred on or about Feb. 20.  Houfek was sentenced to 20 days in jail and 24 months of supervised probation.   One count of unlawful possession of four avoirdupois ounces or more of marijuana is dismissed, along with one count of unlawful manufacture of marijuana.
  • Kellen Koenig was convicted on one count of failure to appear based on a guilty plea entered on Monday, June 2.  The charge stemmed from an incident that occurred on or about Sept. 16, 2013.  Koenig was sentenced to 12 days in jail and 18 months of bench probation.  One count of failure to appear on a criminal citation was dismissed.
  •  Vikstor Astanin was convicted on one count of criminal mischief in the first degree, one count of felon in possession of a firearm/deferred sentence and one count of a fish and game misdemeanor based on a guilty plea entered on April 28.  The charges stemmed from an incident that occurred on or about Dec. 8, 2013.  The fish and game misdemeanor led to a sentencing of 24 months of bench probation, while sentencing on the other two charges is deferred.  One count of theft in the first degree was dismissed.
  • Jessie McCool was convicted on one count of failing to report as a sex offender based on a court verdict of guilty entered on June 3. The charge stemmed from an incident that occurred on or about Dec. 4, 2013. McCool was sentenced to two years of supervised probation.
