Dana Louise Gordon, 52, died in Arlington, Wash. on Friday, Aug. 23, 2013.
She was born to Woody and Jeri Merrill in Lakeview on Oct. 9, 1960. She grew up in Lakeview and graduated from Lakeview High School with the class of 1978. She had lived in New Pine Creek since marrying John A. Gordon.
Dana’s last place of employment was the 39er Store, where she had worked for a few years.
Dana was a family oriented person who thoroughly enjoyed fulfilling the very important role of “Grammy”. Her entire family was truly the most important part of her life.
She was a true outdoors person who especially enjoyed gardening, fishing, camping and playing with her dogs, Rocky and Ruby.
Dana was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by husband John A. Gordon of New Pine Creek; children Kyle and Jenny Morris, Melanie and Mike Boozeny, Heather and Rick Phillips, Heather Gordon and Dean Townsend, Robert and Tara Gordon and John and Beth Gordon; nine grandchildren; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; very special friend Renea and many other close friends.
A memorial service will be held at Desert Rose Funeral Chapel on Saturday, Sept. 7, 2013 at 11 a.m.
