Dolores Faye Padget, 79, died at her home in Lakeview on Saturday, Aug. 17, 2013.
Dolores was born to Pete and Addie (Craig) Moss in Wenatchee, Wash. on Jan. 24, 1934. She grew up in Lakeview and graduated with the Lakeview High School Class of 1952.
Dolores and Roy Padget were married in Lakeview on Dec. 5, 1953.
Dolores kept herself busy being a stay at home Mom. To her raising her family was a joy and a privilege, not a job. She was an ardent fan of her children and grandchildren’s sports activities and never missed a game. Because of her love of sports, she helped organize the local summer girls softball program.
Her hobbies included golfing, bowling, cross stitching and tending her beautiful flowers.
Dolores was preceded in death by her parents, Pete and Addie Moss; and sister, Phyllis Johnston.
She is survived by husband, Roy of Lakeview; son and daughter-in-law, Steven and Glenna Padget of Klamath Falls; daughters and sons-in-law, Donna and Chet Henderson of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Vicky and John Clemens of Burns; brother and sister-in-law, Don and Lois Moss of Lakeview; 7 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside memorial service will be held at the Westside Cemetery on Saturday, Aug. 31, 2013 at 11 a.m.
