Firefighters teach preschoolers about safety

headstartThis group of children got the chance to learn about fire safety from local firefighters John Hodges and Stan Jaska on Tuesday, Nov. 19, at the Lakeview location of Klamath Family Head Start.  The group, part of the morning preschool class at the Head Start site, were able to see a fire truck up close and talk to the firefighters about what to do in case of a fire.  Jaska and Hodges also handed out fire hats to each of the kids with a bag of goodies. Those present included Briarrose Morgan, back l-r, Sunnie Samples, Braden Wright, Hayden McLane, Bricen Wright, Cailin Legg, Jaxon Hawkins, Macy Hickey, Harleigh Goodan and Bryson Aaron.  Also, Thomas Breazeal, front l-r, Matthew Goeres, Catherine Goeres, Sami Koontz, Wyatt Goodan, Aziah Irvin, Derrek Wells and Aurora Wright.
