While North Lake School’s boys basketball season may have proven to be a tough road, the flu season hit them just as bad. The school had to close for three days during the week of Feb. 4, due to increased illness between the students and the teachers. It also added some difficulty to practice for upcoming games.
Head Coach Brian Baker said that they only were able to practice one day before they hosted the team from Triad to their home court and they really felt the pressure. The game, played on Friday, Feb. 8, had them losing by a wide margin, 86-53.
