Grand Jury Indictments

  • GRAND JURY INDICTMENTS
  • On Tuesday, May 20, Michelle R. Howard was indicted on one count of driving under the influence of a controlled substance and one count of possession of a controlled substance-schedule II.  The charges stemmed from an incident that occurred on or about May 13 in which Howard allegedly drove a vehicle while under the influence of a controlled substance, and also unlawfully and knowingly possessed Oxycodone.
  • On Tuesday, May 20, Steven James Maltman was indicted on one count of possession of a controlled substance-methamphetamine.  The charge stemmed from an incident that allegedly occurred on or about May 16.
  • On Tuesday, May 20, Rena M. Tyler was indicted on one count of hindering prosecution.  The charge stemmed from an incident that allegedly occurred on or about March 20 in which Tyler allegedly unlawfully and knowingly intended to hinder the apprehension of Dustin Kerfoot.
  • On Tuesday, May 20, Susan A. Cartwright was indicted on one count of theft in the first degree and one count of theft in the second degree.  The charges stemmed from an incident that allegedly occurred on or about Aug. 10, 2013, in which Cartwright allegedly unlawfully and knowingly withheld a companion animal from owner Shannon Hogue.
  • On Nov. 20, 2013, Timothy Wayne Halsey was indicted on one count of unauthorized use of a vehicle.  The charge stemmed from an incident on or about Oct. 15, 2013, in which Halsey allegedly knowingly retained possession of a vehicle beyond a specified time as agreed upon by owner Dale Shumway.
  • On Feb. 3, 2012, Jesse Frank Reigard was indicted on one account of attempt escape in the first degree, one count of conspiracy to commit escape in the first degree and one count of solicitation to commit escape in the first degree. The charges stemmed from an incident between the dates of Oct. 1 and Dec. 18, 2011, in which Reigard allegedly unlawfully and knowingly solicited Molly Ann McNeely to use a Jimenez Arms, model JA 22 caliber handgun in escape from Warner Creek Correctional Facility.
  • On Tuesday, May 13, Eric Allen Carper was indicted on one count of felon in possession of a firearm.  The charge stemmed from an incident on or about April 17 in which Carper allegedly unlawfully and knowingly had a firearm in his custody and control despite having been convicted of a felony within 15 years: dealing in cocaine or a narcotic drug.
  • On Tuesday, May 13, Norman Chapman was indicted on one count of laundering a monetary instrument.  The charge stemmed from an incident on or about March 31 in which Chapman allegedly unlawfully and knowingly transported monetary funds with the intent of promoting the delivery of marijuana for consideration, acting together with Dave Vaughn.
  • On Tuesday, May 13, Dave Vaughn was indicted on one count of laundering a monetary instrument.  The charge stemmed from an incident on or about March 31 in which Vaughn allegedly knowingly and unlawfully transported funds to promote the delivery of marijuana for consideration, acting together with Norman Chapman.
  • On Tuesday, May 13, Kristina L. Stockton was indicted on one count of possession of a controlled substance-methamphetamine.  The charge stemmed on an incident on or about April 7 in which Stockton allegedly unlawfully and knowingly possessed methamphetamine, acting together with Raymond Stockton.
  • On Tuesday, May 13, Raymond F. Stockton was indicted on one count of possession of a controlled substance-methamphetamine.  The charge stemmed from an incident on or about April 7 in which Stockton allegedly knowingly and unlawfully possessed methamphetamine, acting together with Kristina Stockton.
  • On Tuesday, May 13, Kelly Parker was indicted on one count of criminal mischief in the first degree and one count of theft in the second degree.  The charges stemmed from an incident on or about April 17 in which Parker, acting together with Summer Richardson, allegedly unlawfully and intentionally damaged a pump house and contents, the property of the US Forest Service, in an amount exceeding $1,000. Parker also allegedly committed the act of theft of metal in an amount exceeding $100 but less than $1000.
  • On Tuesday, May 13, Summer Richardson was indicted on one count of criminal mischief in the first degree and one count of theft in the second degree.  The charges stemmed from an incident on or about April 17 in which Richardson, acting together with Kelly Parker, allegedly unlawfully and intentionally damaged a pump house and contents, the property of the US Forest Service, in an amount exceeding $1,000.
  • Richardson also allegedly committed the act of theft of metal in an amount exceeding $100 but less than $1000, also acting together with Parker.
