Grand Jury Indictments

On Tuesday, Aug. 5, Austin Temple was indicted by a Lake County Grand Jury on one count of failure to appear in the first degree. The charge stemmed from an incident on or about July 14 when the defendant unlawfully and knowingly failed to appear as required after having by court order been released from custody under a release agreement upon the condition that the defendant would subsequently appear in connection with a charge against the defendant of having committed a felony to wit: possession of marijuana over 4 ounces.

 

On Tuesday, Aug. 5, Jerid Search was indicted by a Lake County Grand Jury on one count of failure to appear in the first degree. The charge stemmed from an incident on or about April 2 when the defendant unlawfully and knowingly failed to appear as required, having by court order been released from custody or a correctional facility under a release agreement, upon the condition that the defendant would subsequently appear personally in connection with a charge against the defendant of having committed a felony, to wit: animal abuse in the first degree.

 

On Tuesday, July 22 Maksim Astanin was indicted by a Lake County Grand Jury one count of aiding in a game violation. The charge stemmed from an incident on or about Dec. 8, 2013 in Lake County when the defendant, Alexsey Doroshenko, Viktor Astanin and Paul Lukyanov did unlawfully and knowingly aid and counsel in a wildlife offense to wit: taking a buck deer in closed season being contrary to the statures in such cases made and proved against the peace and dignity of the State of Oregon. The defendant was also charged of theft in the first degree. The charge stemmed from an incident on or about Dec. 8, 2013 in Lake County acting together with Alexey Doroshenko, Viktor Astanin and Paul Lukyanov, did unlawfully and knowingly commit theft of a buck deer with at least one antler with four points or more, of the total value exceeding $1,000. The defendant was also charged with criminal mischief in the first degree. The charge stemmed from an incident on or about Dec. 8, 2013 in Lake County acting together with Alexsey Doroshenko, Viktor Astanin and Paul Lukyanov, did unlawfully and intentionally damage a buck deer, the property of the State of Oregon, of the total value exceeding $1,000, having no right to do so nor reasonable grounds to believe he had such right.
