Grand Jury Indictments

  • On Tuesday, April 8, Michael Goodell was indicted by a Lake County Grand Jury on one count of possession of a controlled substance, psilocybin schedule I, and one count of possession of a controlled substance, marijuana.  The charges stemmed from an incident on or about Feb. 19 in which Goodell allegedly possessed the aforementioned controlled substances.
  • On Tuesday, April 8, David Allen Macedo was indicted by a Lake County Grand Jury on two counts of theft in the first degree by deception.  The charges stemmed from an incident occurring on or about Jan. 18 in which Macedo allegedly unlawfully obtained property of William Barry, to wit cattle as a lien, in an amount exceeding $1,000 with the intent of defraudment.
  • On Tuesday, April 8, Harvey Davis was indicted by a Lake County Grand Jury on one count of rape in the first degree.  The charge stemmed from alleged incidents occurring between Jan. 1, 2009, and Jan. 1, 2010, in which Davis is accused of unlawfully and knowingly having sexual intercourse with a female under 16 years of age that was his sibling.
  • On Tuesday, April 8, Charles J. Wentworth was indicted by a Lake County Grand Jury on one count of possession of a controlled substance-marijuana.  The charge stemmed from an incident on or about April 7 in which Wentworth allegedly unlawfully and knowingly possessed marijuana in a quantity exceeding 4 ounces.
  • On Tuesday, April 8, Steven Doll was indicted by a Lake County Grand Jury on one count of possession of a controlled substance-methamphetamine.  The charge stemmed from an incident on or about Jan. 30 in which Doll allegedly unlawfully and knowingly possessed methamphetamine.
  • On Friday, March 28, Joseph J. Gilbert was indicted by a Lake County Grand Jury on one count of burglary in the first degree, one count of theft in the first degree and one count of possession of marijuana, more than 4 oz.  The charges stemmed from incidents that occurred on or about Oct. 31, 2013, in which Gilbert allegedly unlawfully and knowingly entered a building on Old Lake Road with the intent to commit the crime of theft, in this case marijuana that was the property of Elizabeth Hunter and holding a value of $1,000 or more.  Gilbert also allegedly unlawfully and knowingly possessed marijuana in a quantity exceeding 4 ounces.
