Grand Jury Indictments

  • Johnny B. Martinez was indicted by a Lake County Grand Jury on May 24, 2012, on one count of failure to appear in the first degree. According to court documents, on May 7, 2012, Martinez, having been charged with the crime of burglary in the second degree, a felony, was released from custody under a release agreement with the condition that said he would appear personally subsequently in connection with the charge. The documents state he unlawfully and intentionally failed to appear before the court as required.
  • Marvin Tristan Dooley was indicted by a Lake County Jury Duty on Thursday, March 14, on one count of criminal possession of a forged instrument in the first degree, one count of forgery in the first degree, one count of unlawful delivery of methamphetamine in the first degree and possession of a controlled-substance-methamphetamine. The charges stemmed from an incident that occurred on Jan. 31 in which Dooley allegedly possessed twenty dollar bills known to be forged, which was uttered to William Stevenson. Dooley also allegedly possessed and delivered methamphetamine.
  • Elijah Jeremiah Wells was indicted by a Lake County Grand Jury on Thursday, March 14, on one count of assault in the second degree, stemming from an Aug. 24, 2012 incident. Wells, while acting together and with Jessica Spears, unlawfully and intentionally caused physical injury to Wendy Thomas by means of a MAG flashlight and brass knuckles.
  • Steven Paul Rawlins was indicted by a Lake County Grand Jury on Thursday, March 14, on one count of unlawful delivery of marijuana and one count of unlawful possession of marijuana, stemming from a March 11 incident in which Rawlins allegedly, with Jonathan Dean Kilby, illegally possessed and delivered marijuana. Rawlins was allegedly in possession of 150 grams or more of a mixture or substance containing a detectable amount of marijuana.
  • Jonathan Dean Kilby was indicted by a Lake County Grand Jury on Thursday, March 14, on one count of unlawful delivery of marijuana and one count of unlawful possession of marijuana, stemming from a March 11 incident in which Kilby allegedly acted together with Steven Paul Rawlins in unlawfully and knowingly possess and deliver marijuana. Kilby was allegedly in possession of 150 grams or more of a mixture or substance containing a detectable amount of marijuana.
  • Shane K. Hopkins was indicted by a Lake County Grand Jury on Thursday, March 14, on two counts of unlawful possession of marijuana stemming from a March 1 incident in which Hopkins possessed marijuana in a quantity exceeding 1 ounce. Hopkins allegedly was in possession of 150 grams or more of a mixture or substance containing a detectable amount of marijuana.
  • Michael David Maggio was indicted by a Lake County Grand Jury on Thursday, March 14, on one count of unlawful possession of marijuana and one count of unlawful delivery of marijuana, stemming from a March 7 incident in which Maggio possessed and delivered marijuana in a quantity exceeding 150 grams.
  • Jerod A. Miller was indicted by a Lake County Grand Jury on Thursday, March 14, on one charge of possession of a controlled substance-methamphetamine, stemming from a March 13 incident in which Miller allegedly possessed methamphetamine.
  • Raymond J. Charles was indicted by a Lake County Grand Jury on Thursday, March 14, on one count of driving under the influence of an intoxicant, stemming from a Feb. 27 incident in which Charles allegedly drove a vehicle on South F near South 6th Street while under the influence of intoxicants. Charles has been previously convicted of felony DUII, according to court documents.
  • Austin M. Temple was indicted by a Lake County Grand Jury on Thursday, March 14, on one count of unlawful delivery of marijuana and one count of unlawful possession of marijuana, stemming from a Feb. 6 incident in which Temple allegedly possessed and delivered marijuana in a quantity exceeding 150 grams.
