November 24, 2009 by

Jeanette A. (Nettie) Cave, 54, died Saturday Nov. 21, 2009 in Lakeview.
Jeanette was born Aug. 14, 1955 in Oakland, Calif. to Richard J. and Virginia (Geoffrey) Cave.
Previously a resident of Auburn, Calif. she moved to New Pine Creek with her son Rick in 2001.
A former employee of Safeway and Stewart’s Marketeria she had many, many friends in Lakeview and New Pine Creek.
Nettie was a sweet, caring  and loving person.  She touched many lives with her kindness and generosity.  She was dearly loved  by her family and her numerous nieces and nephews.  She was witty and funny, always entertaining the children  and making everyone laugh.  Nettie liked to read, cook and write eloquent poetry. She also loved exploring the country around her.
The joy of her life was her son Rick.  The most important thing to her was his happiness and spending time with him.  Rick will forever treasure the time he spent with her.
There are no words to express how much we loved her and how deeply she will be missed by her family. There will never be another like her.  Her charismatic personality, her love for her family and her quest to enjoy life will forever live on in her son.  Our lives will never be the same.
She was preceded in death by her father R.B. Cave; her dearest daughter Jennifer Ross; brother Richard J. Cave.
She is survived by her sons Richard P. Cave of Lakeview and Peter Duran of Sacramento, Calif; mother Virginia Hall of New Pine Creek; brother Kevin Cave of Bakersfield, Calif.; sisters Marie Koller of Boise, Idaho, Toni Merrell of Lincoln, Calif. and Tevis Cave of Klamath Falls; beloved grandsons Robert and Kenny Ross of Citrus Heights, Calif.
A private memorial will be held at a later date.
Contributions in memory of Jeanette may be made to the American Cancer Society or a charity of the donor’s choice.
Desert Rose Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements
