Kathy Phanco, 54, of Prineville passed away on Thursday, July 3, 2014.
Kathy was born on April 26, 1960, in Hermiston to Tom and Ann Stewart. She graduated from Lakeview High School in 1978.
She was an artist and a writer who enjoyed scrap-booking, pottery, and various other forms of arts and crafts. She also enjoyed cooking and gardening.
Kathy was a strong woman that had a great understanding of God and an unshakable faith in Him alone. No matter what life put in her path, she stood strong on this solid foundation, and took on life’s challenges in a way that noticeably lacked fear and had a way of carrying God’s messages and truths to others by her actions. Kathy was admirably unafraid to be anyone other than herself around others.
Kathy is survived by her father, Tom Stewart; sons Michael Bryan Phanco and Timothy Shane Phanco; siblings Steve Stewart, Susan Stewart, and Carolyn Stewart; granddaughters Malina Fisher, Maelynn Phanco and Natalie Phanco; nieces Carli Stewart Rohner and Jordan Stewart Chandler; nephews Thomas Yep, Robert Yep and Andrew Stewart. Kathy is also is survived by two previous husbands, first husband Paul Joseph Phanco and second husband Lee Blalock as well as a multitude of friends and loved ones.
A celebration of life will be held for Kathy at Cline Falls State Park, off Hwy 20 in Redmond, Friday, Aug. 8, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. You may contact Tim Phanco at firstname.lastname@example.org.
