The trial date for a former 9-1-1 dispatcher has been moved back to Tuesday, May 7, at 1:30 p.m., according to the Lake County Circuit Court.
Jaime Jorge Kerr was terminated from the dispatch center along with Michael Shawn Lynch by the Town of Lakeview on charges of official misconduct as per Oregon Revised State statutes.
The charges stem from incidents that allegedly occurred between January and May of 2011, according to court documents. Both Kerr and Lynch pleaded not guilty to all 16 of the counts of official misconduct in the first degree.
Lynch later changed to a guilty plea and was sentenced in July 2012 to one year of bench probation. Twelve of the official misconduct charges were dismissed.
Kerr was originally arraigned on July 25, 2011.
