For those that would like to be ahead of the curve, the traditional carnival bracelets are currently available at Sterling Bank, 1 S. E St.
The bracelets, priced at a pre-fair rate of $20, entitle the wearer to all of the carnival rides. Purchased at the fair, the price will increase to $25.
These bracelets do not include the new ride concessions in place this year, which will be located to the west of the Paul Maurer Shows, Inc.-hosted carnival on the lawn south of the Historical Village site.
This year’s Lake County Fair’s carnival will open on Thursday, Aug. 29, and continue through Monday, Sept. 2. Hours will be 4 to 10 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, 1 to 10 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday and noon to 5 p.m. on Monday.
