Lake County’s chapter of the Oregon Hunters Association is currently gearing up for their 2013 fundraiser banquet.
This year’s event, which marks the ninth year overall locally, will be held on Saturday, April 6, at the Lake County Fairgrounds. Proceeds raised from the event will benefit a variety of local wildlife conservation projects and efforts, and funds raised stay on the ground locally.
On the menu for the evening, which will be prepared by Lake County Search and Rescue, is tri-tip steak and chicken. The Eagles Lodge will provide bar services.
Dinner tickets are $40 for adult meals, $35 for youth meals and $75 for an adult dinner and a one-year membership.
Gerald Slay, president of the local chapter, said between 45 and 50 weapons will be given away over the course of the night. As in years past, there will be silent and live auctions, as well as plenty of raffle drawings.
