Lakeview Police Department

  • Monday, June 9 – At 5:20 p.m., Lakeview Police Department assisted the Lakeview Fire Department on a shed fire in the 800 block of North 7th Street. The subject responsible for starting the fire was placed on a Peace Officer’s mental hold and transported to the Lake District Hospital, without incident, for evaluation.
  • Monday, June 2 – At 9:45 p.m., Lakeview Police Department responded to the report of a hit and run in the 200 block of North J Street in Lakeview.

Lake County Sheriff Department

  • None Reported.

Oregon State Police

  • Thursday, June 5 – At 11:24 a.m. Donald Parish was stopped for a traffic violation on Hwy 140 near MP 69. He was cited and released for PCS-marijuana. Over 12 ounces of marijuana was seized from the vehicle.
  • Wednesday, June 11 – At 4:06 p.m. Oregon State Police responded to a driving complaint on Hwy 140 west of Lakeview. Police located what was believed to be the vehicle as it turned southbound on North H Street. The driver was contacted in his driveway and observed signs of impairment. Dennis Paige performed field sobriety tests which showed signs of impairment. The driver was also discovered to have an arrest warrant. The driver was arrested for DUII and the warrant. A breath sample showed a .16 blood alcohol content.
