Lakeview Police Department

Monday, April 7 — At 5:05 p.m., Lakeview Police Department responded to a report of theft 1 in the 300 block of South H Street. The case is currently under investigation.

At 10:22 p.m., Michael Moody was contacted in the 800 block of South G Street and arrested for an outstanding warrant. He was lodged in the Lake County Jail without incident..

Wednesday, April 9 —At 7:55 a.m., the Lakeview Police Department took a report of furnishing alcohol to a minor and minor in possession of alcohol at 906 S. 3rd St.

Sunday, April 13 — At midnight, Lakeview Police Department contacted two individuals near North 4th and G Streets. It was determined that the vehicle they were driving was stolen. Adrian Phoenix and Chaz Williams were arrested for unlawful use of a motor vehicle. A third individual fled the scene.

Monday, April 7— At 1:10 p.m., a traffic stop was initiated on Hwy 395 at milepost 128 for a traffic offense. Upon contact with Raymond Frank Stockton, driver and Kristina Lynn Stockton, both of Christmas Valley the officer detected the odor of marijuana. The occupants of the vehicle consented to a vehicle search, leading to the discovery of less than an ounce of marijuana, a small jar of methamphetamine and two pipes containing methamphetamine residue. Both were cited and released for possession of a controlled substance.

At 6:50 p.m., Charles Wentworth was stopped for traffic violation. He was subsequently arrested and lodged in the jail for possession of more than four ounces of marijuana. Deiter Towing towed the vehicle. Lakeview Police and Lake County Sheriff’s Department assisted on the scene.

Wednesday, April 9 —At 9:37 a.m., a vehicle crash was reported at milepost 79.5 on State Route 31 of a tractor-trailer hauling a large flatbed with hay bales headed southbound. The commercial motor vehicle had drifted into the northbound lane while negotiating a hard right curve when it turned on its side. The driver was transported to Lake District Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The vehicle was towed by Crescent Auto Repair and Towing.
