- Thursday, Nov. 28 — A gray Honda Civic traveled off the roadway near milepost 87 of Hwy 140 and into a ditch hitting an embankment. The vehicle rolled over onto its top and came to an uncontrolled rest in the westbound lane, sustaining major damage. The driver, Chelsea Cohara, 18, of Klamath Falls, sustained moderate injuries and was transported to the hospital. Lakeview Auto towed the vehicle. Lake County Sheriff’s Department and Lakeview Police Department assisted on scene.
- Thursday, Dec. 5 — Donna Kobow of Homedale, Idaho was stopped for a traffic violation on Hwy 395. Several drug trafficking indicators were present. Kobow denied consent to search. The K-9 drug dog “Lola” was called for and alerted to the vehicle. A probable cause search revealed 2 lbs. of marijuana in the trunk of the vehicle. She was subsequently arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance – marijuana.
- Tuesday, Dec. 10 — Ramona Pettus of Bliss, Idaho and Michel Ceja of Twin Falls, Idaho were stopped for a traffic violation on Hwy 395. A probable cause search of the vehicle resulted in the discovery of 4 oz. of marijuana. They were subsequently cited and released for the offense.
- Thursday, Dec. 12 — Matthew Krenning was stopped for a traffic violation on Hwy 140. Several drug trafficking indicators were present. A probable cause search resulted in the discovery of 30 lbs. of marijuana. Krenning was arrested for the offense.
