Lakeview Police Department

  • Monday, Dec. 30 — At approximately 9 a.m. a pair of glasses with a lanyard was located in the mail slot of the Police Department.  It is unknown who found them or where they were found or when they were turned in.  The glasses will be held for 30 days then disposed of.
  • Monday, Dec. 30 — At 4:39 p.m., Lakeview Police assisted by Lake County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop for a speed violation.  The driver, Saucedo Bertin, was arrested for failure to present his driver’s license and cited for other traffic violations.
  • Monday, Dec. 30 — At 1:50 p.m., Lakeview Police made contact with Orie Summers, 31, of Lakeview.  Summers was arrested for an outstanding Lake County warrant.

Oregon State Police Report

  • Sunday, Jan. 5 — Tammy Sue Hoppe, 37, of Grants Pass was stopped for a traffic violation.  She was subsequently arrested for DUII and lodged in the Lake County Jail.  Lake County Sheriff’s Department assisted on scene.  Deiter Towing towed the vehicle.
