Law Enforcement— Week of July 31

Town of Lakeview Police

  • Thursday, July 18 — Lakeview Police Department had a wallet turned in at approximately 10 a.m. It was found at 18 S. G St.
  • Thursday, July 18— Lakeview Police assisted in the Lake County Parole and Probation arrest of Tony Ramirez for a probation violation at approximately 2:15 p.m. on the 200 block of north G street.
  • Friday, July 19—Lakeview Police Department assisted the Department of Human Services with a child welfare issue on the 900 block of Linda Lane at approximately 3:14 p.m. The case has been referred to the Lake County Juvenile Department.
  • Saturday, July 20—Lakeview Police conducted a traffic stop on Hwy 395 N. at approximately 5:08 p.m., after which they learned that the driver was operating the vehicle while suspended and with no insurance. The vehicle was impounded and the driver was issued a citation for driving while suspended and with no insurance.
