Law Enforcement—Week of May 22

Town of Lakeview Police

Monday, May 13— Lakeview Police arrested Jackson Morris for a state-wide felony after conducting a routine traffic stop on Stock Drive in Lakeview at approximately 7:43 p.m.

Thursday, May 16— Lakeview Police Department arrested Steven McLane for driving under the influence of intoxicants and for reckless endangerment at approximately 5 p.m. on the 1000 block of South “F” Street.

Thursday, May 16—Lakeview Police assisted the Parole and Probation office on the 100 block of North “D” Street at approximately 5:25 p.m.

 

Lake County Sheriff  Department

Thursday, May 16 – Members from Lake County Search and Rescue responded to a call to search for two missing adults last known to be scouting for mushrooms in the Barry Point Fire area.   The individuals were stranded overnight south of Dog Lake when their vehicle became stuck in the mud, and located en-route to Klamath Falls.
