Oregon State Police

  • Wednesday, Oct. 23 — Vehicle was traveling north on Hwy 31, and hit a cow near milepost 116, causing major damage to the front end of the vehicle.  No injuries were reported; Ace Towing towed the vehicle.
  •  Wednesday, Oct. 23 — Alan Owen was stopped for a speed violation on South G Street near 10th Street.  He was subsequently lodged in the Lake County Jail for felony parole warrant, no bail.  The vehicle was towed incident to arrest by Lakeview Towing.  Other charges pending DA review.  Owen was cited for driving while suspended, no insurance and violation of basic speed rule.
  • Friday, Oct. 25 — Michael Barnes was stopped for a traffic violation.  He failed standardized field sobriety tests, was cited and released for driving under the influence of intoxicants.  The vehicle was towed by Don Deiters.
