Law Enforcement — Week of Sept. 4

Town of Lakeview Police

Wednesday, Aug. 28 — A wallet was turned into the police department.  The owner was contacted and the wallet returned.

Friday, Aug. 30 — At approximately 9:30 p.m. the Lakeview Police Department took a report of a theft from the fairgrounds.  David Reeves and Kegan Lindsey were arrested and lodged in the Lake County Jail.

Saturday, Aug. 31 — The Lakeview Police Department issued Keith Frank a citation for Minor in Possession of Alcohol.

Sunday, Sept. 1 — Lakeview Police Department conducted a traffic stop on South F Street.  As a result of the stop, Benjamin Thompson was arrested for driving under the influence of intoxicants.  Marissa Prock was also issued a criminal citation for providing false information to a police officer.

Oregon State PoliceThursday, Aug. 29 — William Dale Moody was stopped for a traffic violation by an Oregon State Police Officer at around 9:59 p.m.  He performed and failed voluntary field sobriety tests.  He was subsequently arrested for DUII.  He had a .11 BAC.  Deiter Towing towed the vehicle.  Lakeview Police Department assisted on scene.

Friday, Aug. 30 — Whitney Lyn Hudson was stopped for failing to obey a TCD at Roberta and Hwy 140 at approximately 11:49 p.m.  Driver was intoxicated and failed Standard Field Sobriety Test.  During the arrest, the driver resisted causing injury to two officers.  Hudson was lodged in the Lake County Jail for DUII, reckless driving, two counts of assaulting a police office, and two counts of resisting arrest.  Bail was set at $22,500
