LeRoy Grindstaff 

LeRoy Grindstaff, 72, died in Homedale, Idaho at the Owyhee Health and Rehabilitation Center on Saturday, Oct. 13, 2012.
He was born to Raymond and Evelyn (Branch) Grindstaff in Lakeview on Dec. 12, 1939.
He grew up in Lakeview where he graduated from Lakeview High School with the class of 1959. After graduating he worked on ranches in the Fort Rock area for his Uncle Bill Branch. When he got tired of the ranching life, he worked in mills in Lakeview, New Bieber and White City until retiring. Due to his illness, he moved to Homedale, Idaho to be closer to his brother, Glen.
LeRoy was an avid Lakeview Honker sports fan and seldom missed any sports event. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing and bowling.
LeRoy is survived by his daughter Robin Smith; brother and sister-in-law Glen and Polly Grindstaff of Wilder, Idaho; four grandchildren; nephew Larry Grindstaff; niece and husband Jackie and Greg Allum; niece, Kristi Grindstaff; great-nieces Angela, Shelli, Austin, Bodee and Emma Grindstaff; numerous cousins.
Services were held for LeRoy at Desert Rose Funeral Chapel on Saturday, Oct. 20, 2012 with burial in the Sunset Park Cemetery.
Contributions in the memory of LeRoy may be made to Owyhee Health and Rehab Center, 108 E. Owyhee Ave., Homedale, Idaho 83628; Ed Garrett Roundup Museum, 438 Mtn. View, Lakeview 97630 or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
Desert Rose Funeral Chapel had charge of the arrangements.
