Lake County’s chapter of the Oregon Hunters Assoc. will host their annual fundraiser banquet on Saturday, April 6, at the Lake County Fairgrounds.
Doors will open for the event at 4 p.m., with dinner served at 6 p.m. and the live auction starting at 7 p.m. On the menu is a choice of tri-tip steak or chicken, prepared by Lake County Search and Rescue.
Dinner tickets are $40 for adult meals, $35 for youth meals and $75 for an adult dinner and a one-year membership.
An estimated 45 to 50 weapons will be given away during the evening, as in previous years. A number of desirable items are on tap for the live auction as well, with deer and elk hunting trips, along with fishing trips, on the auction block for the highest bidder.
A new game has been added for the kids in the form of ‘Plinko’ borrowed from the Westside area. Also new for this year are gift certificates in the amount of $599 for Parker’s Rod & Reel in Klamath Falls in place of a $599 allotment for a gun in which the winning raffle ticket holder got to pick the caliber.
