Paisley Track and Field in stride

Paisley’s men finished fifth, overall, at the Lakeview meet, while the women placed mid-pack in third.

Highlights for the men included a second-place finish by Raphael Siemantel in the triple jump (32’4.75”), with Lars Kugel taking fourth place (25’8”). Siemantel also took fourth in the 3000-meter (12:43.06).

Martin McKay finished third in the 200-meter (25.53), and fifth in the shot put (35’2.5”).

Wade O’Connor took second in the 110-meter hurdles (19.02), with Camden Jones right behind in third with a 19.99 finish. Jones also placed third in the pole vault (9 feet flat).

O’Connor additionally took third in the discus with a 105’2” effort and third in the long jump (18’2”).

A couple shining spots for the women included a win by Tess O’Leary in the 800-meter event (2:33.98) and a win by Krysta Colahan in the triple jump (28’5”).

Colahan also placed second in the 1,500-meter (5:55.42), while O’Leary also took second in the shot put (28’10.25”).

O’Leary’s achievements also included a second place finish in the pole vault (8’6”).

Jessica Arrington finished third in the discus (75’2”), as well as third in the javelin (79’06”).

Paisley’s 4×400-meter relay team of Julia O’Leary, Tess O’Leary, Krysta Colahan and Priscilla Norris placed second with a time of 4:37.97.
