Paisley’s track and field squad traveled to La Pine for the La Pine Invitational on Saturday, April 20.
The men finished 13th overall out of 13 men’s teams, while the women placed 10th out of 14 teams.
Highlights for the women included a third place by Tess O’Leary in the 800-meter event (2:31.69), as well as a sixth place effort in the shot put (28’8.5”). O’Leary also took fourth in the pole vault (8 feet flat).
The women’s 4×400-meter relay team (Tess O’Leary, Priscilla Norris, Julia O’Leary and Krysta Colahan) placed fifth (4:30.74).
Colahan took fifth in the triple jump with a 29’9” effort.
For the men, Wade “Rowdy” O’Connor placed fourth in the 300-meter hurdles (46.01), and the 4×100-meter relay team (Jesse Mulder, Camden Jones, Martin McKay and Wade O’Connor) took fifth (48.07).
Camden Jones took seventh in the 110-meter hurdles (18.66).
Paisley next competes at the Summit High School Invitational on Saturday, April 27.
