Phyllis E. Charles, 83, time on this earth ended on Saturday, April 6, 2013 at the Lake District Hospital.
She was born to Clyde and Eulalie (Taylor) Ellis in Tillamook on Aug. 4, 1929.
She grew up in Tillamook, where she graduated from high school. After she and Martin A Charles were married they settled in Clovis, Calif. where they owned the Mid-City Escrow, Inc. They were very involved in the community of Clovis and were active in the Chamber of Commerce, Rotary Club, Ducks Unlimited, Big Hat Days and the Oktoberfest.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers; four sisters.
Phyllis is survived by her husband Martin A. Charles; daughters Jill, Carla and Debera.
At her request no public services were held.
Private burial was in the Westside Cemetery.

Desert Rose Funeral Chapel was in charge of the arrangements.
