An ultimate goal is to clear the air; literally.
South Central Oregon Economic Development District (SCOEDD)and ProBuild will host a ‘Learn to Burn’ event on Wednesday, Sept. 25, from 12 to 2 p.m. at ProBuild, located at 1303 N. 4th St.
The primary driver of the event is to serve as an educational and informational session on how to build an efficient and clean-burning wood stove fire. By utilizing proper combustive techniques, an efficient wood stove will burn much cleaner.
Highlights of the event will include free hot dogs and free biomass bricks, along with informational components available from ProBuild and the local town and county air quality committee.
Woodstove accessories will also be showcased as part of the event.
