Seth A. Muller

Seth A. Muller, 75, passed away at his home on Sunday, July 1, 2012.
He was born Sept. 28, 1936 at Albany to Milford and Mary (McBride) Muller.
Seth was raised in Halsey as a child and attended Halsey Grade school and graduated from Halsey High School. He had lived in Albany, Roseburg, Novato, Calif., Corvallis and Summer Lake. He retired from Sears in Albany as a salesman.
He attended the Silver Lake Open Bible Church as well as the Summer Lake Church. He had been Exalted Ruler of the Elks in Roseburg and Novato, Calif. He was the State Vice President of the Elks in California, belonged to the Lakeview Elks, was a Mason and a member of the Jaycees.
He married Carol “Kay” Holloway on June 10, 1955, they had three daughters. He then re-married Janis Morrill on Sept. 28, 1974 at Lake Tahoe, Nev.
He is survived by wife Janis;sons Dennis Morrill of Lakeview and Doug Morrill of Portland; daughters Kathy Muller of Glide, Karen Henbest and Shannon Johnson both of Roseburg; brother Kent M. Muller of Riverside, Calif.;16 grandchildren;19 great- grandchildren.
He would light up any room with his smile, laughter and voice. As sick as he was, he was always joking and laughing with his girls. He never complained about his illness. Diagnosed with lung cancer in 2006, he fought that battle and his COPD was the battle he fought the hardest and lost. He is now at peace and can run and play golf again.
Private family services will be held later.
