Thomas Flynn’s Memorial Golf Tournament is calling all golfers in the community to the LakeRidge Golf Course from Friday, July 12 to Sunday, July 14.
This is the 27th annual tournament Golfers of all ages are welcome to come out to compete.
Registration prices vary depending on what event golfers choose to participate in, but there are two tournament events.
The price for contestants who wish to participate in the 36-hole is $115. For those who want to compete in the 18-hole competition, the price is $85.
The entry fee includes a practice round, on-course beverages, a Saturday evening dinner banquet, and a Sunday lunch, courtesy of LakeRidge Golf Course owner Ann Logan.
Tee-time for the golfing events are scheduled for 8:30 a.m. every day of the tournament.
The Thomas Flynn Golf Tournament was created in honor Flynn, who was reportedly a huge golf enthusiast before his passing 24 years ago.
The LakeRidge Men’s Club has put on the tournament for the past 27 years.
Part of the proceeds raised from entry and participation support the Junior Golf Program.
The winners of the 36-hole tournament will win 3 net prizes and 2 gross prizes. The winners of the 18-hole tournament will earn two gross prizes.
Other prices include $50 on holes 3/12 and 9/18 for closest to the pin for both low and high handicaps.
Registration forms for the tournament can be picked up at the LakeRidge Golf Course.
