Southern gospel quartet to perform Sept. 6 concert

August 28, 2013 by

Liberty, a quartet performing traditional southern gospel music, will perform a concert at the Lakeview Church of the Nazarene on Friday, Sept. 6, at 7 p.m.

There is no door charge to attend the concert, but a love offering will be accepted from patrons.

Liberty is a full-time concert ministry based in Boise, Idaho, featuring Royce Mitchell, bass, Jordan Cragun, baritone, Philip Batton, tenor and Doug Wiley as the lead vocalist.

The group averages 50,000 to 70,000 miles a year performing an estimated 200 performances for church services, nursing homes, prisons and other ministries.

Additional venues include large conventions, such as the Great Western Gospel Fan Festival, Pacific Gospel Music Association, and the Gospel Music Fan Festival in Canada.

Liberty also averages two recording projects per year.
