Recently, I wrote these parodies of famous quotes for persons old enough to remember.
Detective Sgt. Joe Friday, on the TV series “Dragnet,” would often say: “Just the FAX, ma’am. I just want the FAX.”
Boston Tea Party enthusiasts cried indignantly: “No FAXation Without Representation.”
Just prior to his hanging, Patrick Henry complained: “I regret that I have but one FAX to give to my country.”
The Spanish-American War gave us: “To Hell with Spain, Remember the FAX.”
This one rings a bell and is enshrined in the hearts of Texans, inspired by the Battle of the Alamo in 1836: “Remember the FAX!”
