Todd Allen Kennedy

Todd Allen Kennedy, 38, died of a heart attack in Lakeview on Thursday, Nov. 24, 2011.

Todd was born in Mt. Shasta, Calif. on Jan. 25, 1973 to Terry and Camay Kennedy.

Todd Lived in Klamath Falls throughout his childhood and graduated from Mazama High School in 1991. He immediately began working for Pacific Power and Light where he quickly earned an apprenticeship to become a lineman. While at PP&L he achieved many successes including winning national lineman competitions. For 20 years he was an active member of Medford’s IBEW local 659.

He was married to Elizabeth Titus.

Todd’s greatest success, by his own admission, was his daughter Morgan Todd Kennedy, with whom he shared a very special relationship.

Todd was preceded in death by his grandparents George and Nina Kennedy.

He was deeply loved by his family and is survived by his wife Elizabeth Kennedy; daughter Morgan Todd Kennedy; step-children Tommy and Matthew Henry of Klamath Falls and Sheana Hopson and Paige McGee of Redmond; parents Terry and Camay Kennedy of Klamath Falls; brother and sister-in-law Aydin and Christia Kennedy of Chico, Calif.; grandparents Duane and Beverly McGirr of Klamath Falls; uncles and aunts Dean and Mary McGirr of Chiloquin, Marvin and Gina McGirr of Quincy, Calif. and Ron and Myrnalee Harden of Alturas, Calif.; cousins Michael McGirr of Klamath Falls, Michelle Mahar of Medford, Caleb McGirr of Quincy and Jenna McGirr of Reno, Nev.; many other family members who loved him unconditionally. Todd touched the lives of many, including his extended Lakeview and PP&L family; his close friend Myles McCrocklin of Klamath Falls.

A memorial service will be held at Lakeview High School gymnasium on Saturday, Dec. 3, 2011 at 1 p.m. Come dressed as Todd would, jeans and boots!

In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the Morgan Todd Kennedy Scholarship Fund, c/o US Bank in Klamath Falls.
