Come Saturday night, soup’s on for supporters of the Warner Mountain Friends of NRA organization.
The local chapter will host their annual fundraiser banquet on Saturday, July 13, at the Lake County Fairgrounds. Proceeds will benefit a variety of localized projects funded by the Friends of NRA organization.
The event is slated to start at 5 p.m., and banquet tickets are available for $35.
Yummy’s Cowboy Cuisine of Klamath Falls is catering the dinner, with a choice of prime rib or grilled salmon on the menu this year.
Beverages will also be available, as in previous years.
On the agenda for the evening are both live and silent auctions, special drawings, door prizes and many giveaway items. Many of the items up for auction, raffle or giveaway are specially commissioned by the Friends of NRA for the event.
Varied sponsor packages are also available. The Liberty package ($250) includes a sponsor only gun drawing ticket, 2013 desktop organizer and cap, special recognition during the event, a $165 deduction on the purchaser’s income tax, and a subscription to Traditions magazine.
The Heritage package ($600) includes all the aforementioned plus a choice of a Boyt Harness Rolling Duffle or a Canal Street High Country Skinner knife, two sponsor only gun drawing tickets and a $425 income tax deduction.
The Freedom package ($1,250) includes all of the Liberty package perks plus a Smith & Wesson Shield Pistol in 40 caliber or 9mm, three sponsor only gun drawing tickets and an $850 income tax deduction.
