William Arthur “Bill” Knoke

William Arthur “Bill” Knoke, 77,  died at the Lake District Hospital on Friday, April 1, 2011.
Bill was born to Kimball and Florence (McKune) Knoke in Paisley on Sept. 25, 1933.
After graduating from Paisley High School, Bill attended Oregon Institute of Technology in Klamath Falls for two years. He then moved to San Diego,Calif. where on Feb. 20, 1960 he married Beatrice Ruth Brom.
After retiring from a laundry service, he followed a second career as a salesman in the plumbing department of a Home Depot store. After retiring from the Home Depot he moved back to Lakeview in the late 1990’s.
Bill thoroughly enjoyed going to church and reading his Bible. He had been an active member of the Lakeview Church Of The Open Bible since coming to Lakeview. His last great achievement in life was mastering the computer, which brought him countless hours of pleasure.
He is survived by brothers and sisters-in-law Lawrence and Avis Knoke of Lakeview and James and Loretta Knoke of Seattle; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Friday, April 8 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Desert Rose Funeral Chapel with the funeral service at the Lakeview Church of the Open Bible on Monday, April 8, 2011 at 3 p.m.. Dessert will be served at the church following the service. Private committal will be in the Paisley Cemetery.

Desert Rose Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
