Winner drawn in annual 2013 Wish Book contest

It’s going to be all the merrier a Christmas for Terra Clark of Lakeview.

Clark happened to be the lucky winner drawn in the Lake County Examiner’s annual Wish Book contest, garnering $350 in merchandise from the pages of the annual Wish Book edition published in mid-November courtesy of the Lake County Examiner.

Clark’s Wish List included a Keurig brand single-cup coffee maker from True Value, a one-night stay at Aspen Ridge Resort and a tire changeover at Mile Hi Tire.

Clark noted that she was plenty surprised by the unexpected good news, and it was news that she was thrilled to receive this close to Christmas.

“I was surprised,” she said.  “My mother made me do it.  Thank you, mother!”

Clark noted that she’s particularly fond of the coffee maker, having been previously frustrated with conventional units that have left her with more coffee than she needs.

In addition to coffee, it is also reportedly capable of making a mighty tasty cup of hot chocolate.

“Everybody says it’s really yummy,” Clark said.

The Examiner publishes the Wish Book and hosts the drawing each year not only as a holiday tradition, but also as a means of showcasing the varied items available through local merchants.  The drawing attracts in considerable participation each year.
